Children's Science Center Lab

The Children’s Science Center Lab is Northern Virginia’s first interactive museum where children, families, and school groups can explore science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) concepts through fun, engaging hands-on exhibits, activities, and programs. The mission is to instill a love of learning STEM by providing unique opportunities to explore and create. The Lab has four experience zones (Experiment Bar, Tinker Shop, Discovery Zone, and Inspiration Hub) that change exhibits and activities monthly. The Lab’s “Garage” is a flex-space in our center for camps, classes, workshops, parties, and mini expositions to showcase regional STEM talent in-action among area youth and families. Celebrate your child’s birthday party at the Children’s Science Center Lab! Your party will include STEM educators, hands-on activities, and a whole bunch of exploration, inspiration, and fun!
