The Children’s Science Center Lab is Northern Virginia’s first interactive museum where children, families, and school groups can explore science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) concepts through fun, engaging hands-on exhibits, activities, and programs. The mission is to instill a love of learning STEM by providing unique opportunities to explore and create. The Lab has four experience zones (Experiment Bar, Tinker Shop, Discovery Zone, and Inspiration Hub) that change exhibits and activities monthly. The Lab’s “Garage” is a flex-space in our center for camps, classes, workshops, parties, and mini expositions to showcase regional STEM talent in-action among area youth and families. Camp Twin Creeks is where friendships flourish, childhood thrives and independence grows! During two weeks of traditional co-ed overnight camp, kids will become a part of a lifelong community. By unplugging from technology and the distractions of everyday life, campers are able to connect with new friends and mentors, try new things, and develop confidence and independence.
