November & December are times of contrast: The gray days outside herald the coming of the holidays, so we make ourselves warm and cozy inside. For many, it's the time to think about Christmas trees. Our family has always made cutting our own tree the official start of our holiday celebration. There are plenty of Christmas tree farms in/around DMV to choose from!
