2021 Around The World Cultural Food Festival

The event is ADMISSION FREE, with plenty of national dishes and beverages available for purchase. A national dish is any country’s culinary, and to a large extent, cultural identity. Come enjoy delicious foods from around the world while watching a diverse folk show with singers and dancers from different countries, then take a break between meals and go shopping from our artisans and crafters participating in the festival. Around The World Cultural Food Festival creates a Cultural and Educational Experience like no other in the DMV. Our restaurants do not only sell food; they showcase, educate and teach their culture through food.

Summer Backyard Stargazing

With relatively warm, lengthening nights and one of the best meteor showers of the year, the months of August and September are a great time to check out the night sky, even if it's just from your backyard with no fancy equipment. Students will leave this class prepared to observe the season’s major celestial landmarks and events visible with the unaided eye – including individual stars, constellations, another galaxy, planets, the Moon, and the Perseid and Delta Aquarid meteor showers.
