Imagination Stage offers 1-, 2-, 3-, and 4-week long Summer Camps for ages 4 – 18 at our headquarters in Bethesda and at locations in Rockville and Northwest DC. Camp registration for summer 2024 is now open! Imagination Stage provides equitable access to all summer programming with added inclusion supports in order to provide the most successful experience for each student. Made Jr. Teen Fashion Summer Camp offers a creative hub for teens interested in fashion. Students engage in activities like fashion sketching, mood-boarding, and sewing their own clothes. They get to create their own wearable collection and showcase it in a professional photoshoot, all while making friends and being creative.

Kids take the stage at Maryland's best theater camp, ages 5-12. Themes include Welcome to Theater, Fairytales on Stage, Improv, Play Production, Create a Play, and Theater Bootcamp (grouped by ages). Arts on the Block presents the Youth Arts Movement (YAM) Summer Program for middle schoolers. This 8-week on-site program runs from June 24 to August 16, offering a range of art activities designed to inspire creativity. With experienced instructors, each week explores a different art form, providing hands-on learning and new opportunities for young artists to explore and create.

Boys and girls will step inside the story of some of the most beloved ballets. In addition to taking ballet classes, students will learn the many aspects of preparing for a ballet performance to include costume & makeup design. Discover the World of Communication classes return to the lovely American University Campus in July 2024. Registration is open for this exciting professional pre-college commuter program for high school and rising high school students. American University professors and industry professionals teach all classes. Students use state-of-the-art equipment to make films, photographs, write, direct, and animate their projects.

In this introductory camp, students will explore character creation and storytelling which is at the heart of acting for the stage. They will experience a wide variety of activities focused on introducing basic theater concepts such as ensemble, actor's tools, sharing the stage, dialogue, and action! This class introduces the young actor to a variety of techniques within the world of theater.

Drum camp for kids ages 7 - 11.

Our two-week textiles intensive for students ages 13-17 will help them improve and expand upon practical uses of sewing and textiles. Students will learn traditional sewing techniques and practice expressing their individual style with instructor guidance. Projects will include natural dying, garment-making, weaving, soft sculpture, and more! Class size is limited to 10 students to ensure individual attention.
