Trusted to guide students of all ages since 1984, the Washington Conservatory of Music is one of only 15 nonprofit schools in the United States accredited by the Association for Community and PreCollegiate Arts Schools. We offer individual, private music lessons for children to adults - beginners to advanced - piano, strings, winds, brass, percussion, guitar and voice, music classes in Irish flute, bouzouki, fiddle and bodhran, guitar, ukulele, voice, and early childhood music, and summer music camps with professional highly credentialed faculty. For over twenty years, we have provided free professional concerts featuring world-acclaimed musicians. Through our Tapestry Music Project, we bring free music lessons and classes to children of immigrant and low-income families in the communities where they reside.
