Snow Days Highlights:
Frosty fun around every corner:
Between 11:00am and 2:00pm, be on the look out for activities like toboggan racing, frosty bubbles, snowflake symmetry, snowman engineering, and even an indoor snowstorm all week long!
STEM Workshops:
Roll up your sleeves and get ready to design, craft, build, make, and learn! Four new workshops—Fairy Tale Engineering, Solid -Liquid- Slime, Beginner Circuit Cards, and Intermediate Circuit Cards, will make their debut this holiday season. Plus, fan favorite— Coding with Scratch Jr, Coding with Scratch, and Forensics Lab, are back too! Workshops are perfect for children and families who are ready to create something new while honing their science, technology, engineering, art, and math skills. Advance registration and an additional fee is required. STEM Workshops are not included with admission. Space is limited. Learn more.
Midnight Noon:
Make memories and party, Science Center style, at MSC’S 17th annual Midnight Noon celebration! Enjoy loads of festive activities and games, a live musical performance by the Rainbow Rock Band, and help us ring in the New Year with a noontime ball drop. Midnight Noon will take place on Tuesday, December 31 from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm. Learn more.
The Shed:
Bring your imagination and flex those creative muscles to help us design a snow covered Baltimore, in miniature! Grow this collaborative town with your unique additions. What will you add to this cozy little cardboard community? This activity will take place daily, from 10:00 am – close.
Kids Room:
It’s Decemb-Brrrrr and we are exploring our favorite science of the season. Pop in every day at 11:00am and 2:00pm to catch activities like penguin bowling and a snowy animal track investigation.
