Winter Break Kids Yoga Camps

Breathing Space Kids Yoga Camp offers kids in grades K-4th enriching yoga and mindfulness experiences in a playful, non-competitive environment so they can learn self-regulation and stress management techniques, enhance gross motor skills and fitness, and, most importantly, make friends, relax, and have fun on DCPS days off for professional development or parent-teacher conferences. For grades 3rd-7th, camp may include Yoga Trapeze class as well.

Breathing Space Kids Yoga Camp offers kids in grades K-4th enriching yoga and mindfulness experiences in a playful, non-competitive environment so they can learn self-regulation and stress management techniques, enhance gross motor skills and fitness, and, most importantly, make friends, relax, and have fun on DCPS days off for professional development or parent-teacher conferences. For grades 3rd-7th, camp may include Yoga Trapeze class as well.

We’ll do yoga movement classes, mindfulness activities, relaxation, games, crafts and outdoor time. We offer a non-competitive and supportive environment where kids can learn to learn to work cooperatively as well as learn to care for and nurture themselves.

We are pleased to offer extended day in partnerships with Labyrinth’s wildly popular Good Moves Games Club

Who?

Children in Kindergarten-4th grades for our classic mat-based Yoga Camp and 3rd-7th grade for Yoga Trapeze Camp. We are able to accept a limited number of PK4 younger siblings attending withtheir older sibling. Must be 4 years old by Sept 30. Parents considering sending their 4 year old should read our camper readiness FAQ. Contact us about enrollment.

COVID Vaccination and Precautions

Participants 5 years and older are required to show proof of COVID vaccination before their first camp. We strongly recommend boosters and vaccination for any 4 year old siblings as well.

As long as DC’s community transmission levels remain low, masking is optional. Read more details about our COVID policies.
