Parent & Me Class: Princess Themed Cake Decorating Class

Join Celebrity Pastry Chef Dawn Alston of Ravy Cakes, competitor on Food Networks The Wedding Cake Championship, for a fun & creative, parent & me, beginners cake decorating class.

Chef Dawn will demonstrate how to fill, level and crumb-coat a cake. After this demonstration, each parent and child team will receive their very own crumb-coated cake. The teams will learn how to apply buttercream to the cake, how to tint buttercream and how to decorate the cake with various piping techniques. The teams will also learn how to decorate the Princess Tiara Crown and how to place their crown on their cake. Chef Dawn will also share cake decorating tips and techniques throughout the class.

All The Details:

• Age Level: 5+ with a parent/adult
• Skill Level: Beginner
• Each ticket includes 1 adult and 1 child. If you wish to bring more than 1 child to the class, there is an additional charge of $30. Please contact Fran's directly to purchase your ticket to ensure we can accommodate an additional child.
• All supplies and tools are provided for use during class.
• We will provide a box for each team to take your cake home in
• The class may be a little messy so we recommend bringing an apron.
• If you have long hair, you may want to tie it back.
• Class requires a minimum of 2 teams and there is a maximum of 7 teams. In the event of insufficient enrollment, you will receive a full refund.
• Class will run approximately 2 to 2.5 hours. Please note that the class is hands-on and may run over or under schedule.
