Maruja Limón is an all-female sextet from Barcelona blending flamenco, pop, and Latin rhythms into a contemporary sound. Since 2014, the group has built a reputation for energetic performances and inventive songwriting, appearing at festivals and venues across Europe and beyond.
Their latest EP, Te como la cara, expands their sound with electronic textures, dembow, salsa, and Latin rumba. Rhythm-driven arrangements are paired with lyrics balancing humor, sensitivity, and sharp observation. Recognized by Billboard’s On the Radar Latin, the group recently made its US debut with performances at venues such as Lincoln Center and the Kennedy Center, engaging audiences with music rooted in both tradition and experimentation.
