On Friday, Nov. 7, from 4 – 8 p.m., the University of the District of Columbia (UDC) will celebrate the impact, significance and success of its newest farmers market at Lamond-Riggs. Hosted by UDC’s College of Agriculture, Urban Sustainability and Environmental Sciences (CAUSES), the event will feature live music, family activities and fresh produce from local farms—showcasing just a few of the many ways UDC’s land-grant programs are growing opportunity across the District and the region.
When: Friday, Nov. 7 from 4 to 8 p.m.
Where: UDC Lamond-Riggs Campus, 5171 South Dakota Ave. NE
What to expect: Fresh produce grown by area farmers, live music and performance, entertainment and activities for kids of all ages!
