Free Parade Float Art Making Community Workshop - Wheaton Arts Parade

Work alongside Artists and volunteers to creative problem solve and turn nonrecyclable plastics and other donated materials into a large-scale , light-weight Art Sculpture that will become a Parade Float for the Wheaton Arts Parade & Festival held on Sunday, September 19th, 2021. You will help create and make art, assist others in the art making process and work as a team! ANYONE YOUNGER THAN 16 MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT.

*Please wear clothes you do not mind getting dirty or messy in, closed-toe shoes (no flip-flops)*
All participants must sign a waiver.
Please arrive 30 mins prior to workshop time and plan to stay 30 mins after to help with set up/breakdown of each event.
Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own beverage(s) and snack(s) as needed. Please do not leave trash.
