Dumbarton House Museum is Open!

We are open to the public Thursday-Sunday for self-guided tours! Timed tickets and masks are required. Visit our admissions page for full details. Dumbarton House stood witness to the birth of the American Republic as the government settled into the newly established Federal City. Built in 1799, on the heights of Georgetown, Dumbarton House was the home of the first Register of the U.S. Treasury, Joseph Nourse.
