Kesem is a nationwide community, driven by passionate college student leaders, that supports children through and beyond their parent's cancer. Oflagship program, Camp Kesem, offers a free summer camp for children ages 6-18 impacted by a parent's cancer, in addition to monthly programming and biannual field trips.
2025 Camp occurs August 10-14, 2025 at Sandy Hill Camp and Retreat Center in North East, MD! You can apply by creating a CampSite Account.
Kesem at University of Maryland is a local Kesem chapter supporting children ages 6-18 in the Maryland, DC, and Virginia areas. We provide FREE year-long support to children through and beyond a parent or guardian's cancer. We offer a week-long sleepaway camp in the summer, biannual field trips, monthly programming, and individualized support. Reach out to maryland.outreach@kesem.org if you have questions!
