The ARTfactory is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization that provides programs in the arts for ages five and above and was founded in 1984 by a group of artists and art lovers with the goal of enriching the quality of life in the Northern Virginia region. In 2002, the ARTfactory relocated to the Hopkins Candy Factory building in Manassas and has become the cornerstone of the downtown arts community. Currently, we offer an art gallery, live theatrical performances & special events, a youth theatre company, a professional theatre company, visual and performing arts education, Arts on the Go™, and summer camps.
Our mission is to enrich the creative community by: Engaging people of all ages, celebrating diversity, fostering innovation, and cultivating collaboration and communication. We strive to fulfill our mission by making art and art education accessible to all members of our community through quality programming.
