Boolean Girl

Boolean Girl is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit educating girls and underrepresented youth to code, build, invent, and animate. We provide classes, camps, and online education, teaching coding and engineering in an inclusive, welcoming environment. At Boolean Girl's Summer Camp, girls age 7 + learn computer science and engineering fundamentals through a series of unique projects and hands-on challenges. Our students learn coding, robotics, AI, engineering, teamwork, and digital citizenship while making new friends and having fun! Children's Science Center Lab

The Children’s Science Center Lab is Northern Virginia’s first interactive museum where children, families, and school groups can explore science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) concepts through fun, engaging hands-on exhibits, activities, and programs. The mission is to instill a love of learning STEM by providing unique opportunities to explore and create. The Lab has four experience zones (Experiment Bar, Tinker Shop, Discovery Zone, and Inspiration Hub) that change exhibits and activities monthly. The Lab’s “Garage” is a flex-space in our center for camps, classes, workshops, parties, and mini expositions to showcase regional STEM talent in-action among area youth and families. Celebrate your child’s birthday party at the Children’s Science Center Lab! Your party will include STEM educators, hands-on activities, and a whole bunch of exploration, inspiration, and fun! The Lab now offers three timed entry sessions as followed: Tickets are available for purchase now! Save $2 per ticket when reserving online at childsci.org/tickets.
