Telling your Story: A Documentary Workshop for Teens at Riversdale House Museum Historic Site

“Learn the basics of documentary film making including idea development, unbiased eye theory, cinematography, and beginners editing. The participants will walk away with knowledge of the varied approaches to producing documentaries as well as all the elements to create their own. Brandy Creek is a writer, producer, director and cinematographer who loves telling stories for people who have nothing but their story. Her dedication to and respect for all communities is an integral part of her work, which includes the award-winning film “Children of Paris” and work with the Black Arts District and various community-based projects in the DMV.”
