Thanks to a new, exciting partnership with Tudor Place for UAS Summer 2019, Squad members will walk through time during this program, based in Georgetown at one of the first National Historic Landmarks in America. Tudor Place and UAS are combining forces to offer a unique, hyperlocal historical experience that will be enriching, exciting, and physically active, and emphasize what both of our organizations love: hands-on learning, hikes through history, and multidisciplinary projects that involve cooking, gardening, designing, and creating. Although we will be based at Tudor Place, this program will include off-campus adventures--trips between 1 and 4 miles on-foot and using public transportation--and plenty of outdoor time. Middle School Leaders will have the opportunity to assist UAS and Tudor Place educators in leading projects, discussions, and hikes.
