Run For A Better Life 5K

Join for a fast and flat 5K festival in Anacostia Park on Sunday, Oct 19. All races automatically entered for a raffle with a ton of great prizes. Additionally there is a 400m and 1 mile race for kids. Kids under age 17 are free, but do need to register online. There will be carnival games, juggler, face painting, airbrush tattoo artist, coffee, food and more. Use code FRIENDS for $10 off registration.
The event is to benefit Run Hope Work, a local nonprofit with the mission to help youth and young adults transform their lives through physical fitness, mental well-being and industry-recognized workforce training. Racers will take on the fast, flat, out-and-back course in Anacostia Park starting at the Roller Skating Pavilion.
