AppleTree’s Spring Valley Campus redefines early education in Ward 3 as the area's first pre-K-only public charter school. This groundbreaking initiative means that families with three- and four-year-olds now have access to an excellent education that is both enriching and free of charge.
AppleTree is renowned for its unique Whole Child model, which combines research-based early education with family engagement and comprehensive services. The school understands the critical role that early education plays in shaping a child's future success and social-emotional well-being. The curriculum, Every Child Ready, emphasizes language development, cognitive thinking, pre-literacy, and early math skills through a play-based methodology that fosters independence and creativity.
AppleTree’s Spring Valley campus is located at 4900 Massachusetts Avenue, NW Washington, D.C. 20016. Parents who want to learn more about the new campus can email info@appletreeinstitute.org or you can fill out an interest form here appletreedc.org/3gGzwRr and an AppleTree representative will contact you.
