Fall-flavored beer sampling is back at the Zoo! Join us for OktoBEARfest featuring unlimited sampling of 80+ seasonal brews. Enjoy unlimited beer, wine, seltzer, and cider sampling, live music, local vendors, and, of course, all-day admission to the Zoo.

NEW! Be a VIP and gain access to a special VIP (only) area behind the Main Stage at Lakeside Pavilion with food provided by Mission BBQ, exclusive drink options, private portable restroom, and more!
NEW! All BEAR guests can enjoy special “watering hole” stations throughout the Zoo pairing delicious drinks with fun animal activities – like a pumpkin brew to enjoy during the elephant pumpkin smash!
What to Expect:
- Zoo admission (10:00 – 5:00)
- Unlimited sampling of 80+ brews with your souvenir tasting cup
- Live music: 2 bands each day
- Access to food and artisan vendors
- Charm City Trivia (2:00, 3:00 & 4:00) and Stein Hoisting Competition (Women 3:00, Men 4:30)
- Photos with German princesses (12:30 – 2:00) and Krampus (3:00 – 5:00)
- Scheduled animal activities including an elephant pumpkin smash, chimpanzee enrichment, and pig bowling
WANT TO SKIP THE ENTRY LINE? Recycle your old cell phone or small electronic device, or give a $20 cash donation to the Zoo at the event entrance!
Every dollar raised goes directly towards advancing the Zoo’s mission.
