How can a playground generate electricity? How can bridges help crabs safely migrate? Can robots support patients in the hospital? Let's turn STEM into action with this camp all about investigating real-world problems and approaching them with creative STEM solutions!
In Mission: Possible, campers will:
-Conduct hands-on experiments that inspire innovation, from using chemistry to remove oil from water to engineering model cities that are accessible to everyone
-Discover how failure sparks innovation when trials don’t work exactly as planned the first time.
-Prototype technology that could be used to tackle STEM challenges.
-Meet guest scientists from different fields who use passion and ingenuity to make the world a better place.
-Collaborate with other campers to develop their own unique solutions to challenges of their choice.
This camp is for children entering grades 1-5 in the fall.
