Make a Short Play Summer Camp
*The event has already taken place on this date: Fri, 07/25/2025
Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
Make an original play. We will play some Improv games to warm up and establish a collaborative environment. Then we will use our Improv skills to create a story framework, and define characters, and settings. We will write dialogue to turn the story into a play. Then we will create sets, props and costumes. Those who want to perform will get a part and those who don't want to perform will get a backstage job (set painter, costume designer, director, stage manager etc.). Something for everyone! The presentation will take place on the last day so please plan to attend all week.
Classes are non-refundable unless we cancel. In the event your scheduled teacher is unable to teach the scheduled class, we will first attempt to provide a substitute. If a substitute is not available, we will attempt to re-schedule.
