The Lincoln Oratory Festival

In honor of Abraham Lincoln’s birthday, students from 3rd through 8th grade classrooms across the metro D.C. area perform a selection of his most historic speeches on the Ford’s Theatre stage. The February 6 performance will feature 3rd through 5th grade students from Brent Elementary, Horace Mann Elementary, Hyde-Addison Elementary, Dorothy I. Height Elementary, Thomas Pullen Creative and Performing Arts Academy, Ports Town Elementary School, Taylor Elementary School and Arlington Science Focus Elementary School. The February 7 performance will feature 6th through 8th grade students from Carole Highlands Elementary School, St. Martin of Tours School, Jefferson-Houston PreK-8 School, George Washington Middle School, Mosby Elementary and Fairhill Elementary. Come hear Lincoln’s memorable words and leave feeling inspired! Tickets are free and can be reserved online or will be available at the box office the day of.
Length: 1.5 hours. Recommended for all ages.
