Service Description
Creative Dimensions DJ Workshop
Youth ages 8 and up / max 15 students
Class length 1 hour
Class Fee : $10 or donate more and help our program grow !
ndmdigital's DJ Lessons for Kids. Our unique workshop, "Creative Dimensions," developed by Joseph "DJ Dimension" Mercado and is designed to introduce youth to the increasingly popular and expressive art form of DJing. Through this hands-on workshop experience, your child will learn the fundamentals of beatmatching, mixing, and scratching, all while exploring their own creativity.
Minimum Requirements
- 8 - 16 years old
- Tablet / IPad / IPhone / Android
- Algoriddim DJay App (Free Version is ok )
- Access to PC Video camera, headphones with mic for online sessions
Workshop will cover the following topics:
- Intro to DJ software, Organizing a playlist
- Intro to mixer functions. beat matching; volume, EQing,
- History of DJ culture and forms of media such as turntables, tape decks, CD players
- How to set up equipment to properly operate gear
- Tips about ways DJ / Audio skills can be used creatively to enhance life skills and gain insight to music careers
Also availble parent and kid sessions and group packages. ideal for schools, group homes and other yoyth oragizations.
