Over the last 150 years, the owners of Carlyle House have altered the house multiple times to fit their own needs and desires. When NOVA Parks acquired Carlyle House 50 years ago, they launched a six year project to restore the house to its 18th century appearance. But how did they know what that 18th century appearance was?
