From the Bureau of Land Management to Scenic America, participating partners are hosting interactive educational “Missions” on the free Agents of Discovery app. The app challenges kids—called “Agents”—to complete STEM- and nature-based challenges while exploring local parks, transit hubs, and landmarks.

Partners include:

  • ●  U.S. Fish and Wildlife – Patuxent Research Refuge

  • ●  Frederick County

  • ●  Scenic America

  • ●  Bureau of Land Management – Meadowood Special Recreation Management Area

  • ●  Guest Services

Tziporah Feldman, Policy and Research Director from Scenic America said “We're excited to be part of the DMV Explorer Campaign, it's a fantastic way to help families get outside and engage with the rich scenic, natural, and cultural resources of our region in a fun, interactive way.
At Scenic America, we believe that cultivating a connection to the outdoors is essential to preserving our nation’s scenic beauty, and programs like this are a great entry point for children of all ages and their families.”

The Missions are educational, active, and accessible—once downloaded, they can be played without Wi-Fi or data, making them ideal for all families.

Players who complete Missions while logged in are automatically entered into a prize draw, with more entries for each Mission completed.

Nico Foris, CEO for Guest Services, Inc. added “creating new ways with technology for visitors to enjoy the many State and National Parks we operate across the country is a top priority for us. The DMV Explorer Campaign is a perfect way to do that by increasing engagement, education and simply making a visit to one of our many locations in the Washington Metropolitan Area more fun.”

The DMV Explorer Campaign runs August 25th to October 26th.
