Creative Sewing Virtual Workshop

Join us for an online sewing workshop for ages 7 to 11.

Express yourself using fabric, needle, and thread! Join artist Suzanne Herbert-Forton for a STEAM themed embroidery workshop. Participants will learn how to use the components of a felt embroidery kit that we will provide, to create their own unique embroidered artwork. In the online workshop Suzanne will also demonstrate how to create a design, then use that design to create a pattern, cut shapes, then finalize the works using appliqué techniques, For the finishing touches, Suzanne will demonstrate how to add details with embroidery stitches.
Virtual Classes are conducted on the Microsoft Teams platform.
