Welcome to "Crafty Tales" at Merry Pin! Join us for a magical journey where stories come to life through the power of imagination and creativity. In this enchanting series, children (recommended ages 3-8 but all are welcome) are invited to gather round as our storytellers weave captivating tales of artists and makers from around the globe.
But the fun doesn't stop there! After each delightful story, young crafters get the chance to immerse themselves in the theme through a hands-on crafting activity. From Picasso portraits to Alma Thomas’ rainbows, every session is an opportunity for children to explore their creativity and learn something new.
This Saturday, we'll be reading Edward Hopper Paints His World. After the story, young artists will be invited to create their own landscapes in the style of Hopper.
