Children's Art Classes Summer Workshops

CAC Alexandria, VA’s Summer Workshops invite young artists ages 3–18 to explore a vibrant mix of drawing, painting, clay, mixed media, and themed creative adventures across seven exciting weeks. Running from June 29 through August 14, each week offers four unique workshops tailored to different age groups and interests — from Beginning Drawing and Watercolor Landscapes to Anime/Manga Character Creation, Clay Sculptures, Stained Glass Creations, and even special themed sessions like Pokémon Artistic Odyssey and Artistic Adventures in Oz.
Our workshops are designed to nurture confidence, creativity, and skill development in a warm, supportive studio environment where students can experiment, learn new techniques, and bring their ideas to life. Families can choose individual workshops or build a full summer schedule that fits their child’s interests and availability. With small class sizes, engaging instructors, and a wide range of artistic mediums, CAC Alexandria, VA provides a joyful, enriching summer experience for every young creator.
