Children's Art Classes - Alexandria, VA’s School Year Program offers a full academic year of progressive, curriculum-based art education for young artists ages 3–18, running from late August through late May at our studio in the Hilltop Village Center near the Wegmans Grocery Store. Throughout the year, students explore drawing, painting, clay, mixed media, and specialty projects that build strong foundational skills while nurturing creativity and confidence. Each level is thoughtfully structured to guide students step by step through age-appropriate techniques, artistic concepts, and hands-on practice.
Weekly classes provide a consistent, supportive studio environment where students can develop their abilities over time, experiment with new materials, and bring their ideas to life. With small class sizes, engaging instructors, and a wide range of artistic mediums, the School Year Program at CAC Alexandria, VA offers meaningful growth for both beginning and experienced young artists.
