*The event has already taken place on this date: Fri, 02/22/2019
This spirit-rousing musical play chronicles the struggles and triumphs of pioneering African American baseball players.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

The all-star lineup of heroes includes Moses “Fleet” Walker, who became the game’s first black pro in the 1880s; power hitter Josh “Spitfire” Gibson; athlete-philosopher Satchel Paige; and young Jackie Robinson, who first integrated the major leagues. You’ll stand up and cheer for the players who made sports history—and American history, too!

Bring this show to your school Feb. 2 to 10. Call Artivate at 301-588-7525 for prices and availability.
