Activity details
An unforgettable farm experience for kids ages 7 to 12! Campers will spend four days immersed in alpaca care, hands-on activities, and outdoor fun. Each camper will be assigned their own alpaca for the week, learning to care for and connect with them while also enjoying creative crafts, nature-inspired projects, and interactive farm experiences.
Booking is for Monday-Thursday 9 AM - 1 PM
What's included
- Four half-day sessions (Monday – Thursday, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM)
- Individual alpaca assignment for the week
- Daily alpaca care lessons and hands-on activities
- Fun and engaging crafts and nature-based projects

What's not included
- Lunch (campers should bring their own packed lunch and water bottle)
- Personal items (campers should bring a towel, swimsuit, sunscreen, and a change of clothes)
Itinerary
Tentative Itinerary:
9:00 AM – Arrival & Check-In
9:15 AM – Monday: Farm safety introduction, tour, and alpaca assignments
Tuesday – Thursday: Barn safety review and morning farm chores
10:00 AM – Alpaca Time!
Learn about alpacas (Huacaya vs. Suri, age, fleece type, genealogy, markings, weight, and handling) Hands-on experience with feeding, haltering, and fleece care
10:20 AM – Snack & Quick Learning Activity
Alpaca-themed worksheets (word finds, mazes, anatomy, etc.)
10:45 AM – Rotating Activity Stations
Group 1: Craft Time
Tie-dye shirts, alpaca shrinky dinks, rock painting, fleece silhouette art, and more!
Group 2: Cria Time!
Hands-on interaction with baby alpacas
11:25 AM – Lunch & Free Time
Picnic-style lunch & games (corn hole, ladder ball, jumbo jenga, jumbo connect four, tricycles)
12:00 PM – Daily Activity
Examples include: Water games & "belly baths" (no swimming) Scavenger hunts & nature hikes Alpaca treats and feeding experiments Hayrides & health care demos
12:35 PM – Journal Time
Reflection and observations (in the pasture or picnic area)
12:50 PM – Clean-Up & Get Ready for Pickup
