Seeing & Writing Home: Nature Photography and Writing Camp

It is said that “a picture is worth a thousand words,” and a well-crafted phrase can create an image as vivid as any photograph. We’ll explore both of these crafts in Seeing Home/Writing Home. For campers who love reading and writing as well as nature, using the inspiration of the woods, trails, pond, and stream around Meadowside we’ll turn our nature observations into stories. With cameras, tablets, and even phones we’ll document what we see and explore using words and pictures to share our outdoor experiences with others. Plan to hike, splash, journal, photograph, draw (if you like), and express your own relationship in nature.
