Pumpkin Patch Hike at Locust Grove Nature Center - Bethesda, MD

What could be more fun than a hike through the Pumpkin Patch?! This is a less scary hike for smaller children while it is still light outside. Don your costume and join Locust Grove Nature Center staff for this hike on Friday, October 30, from 5 to 6:30 pm. A campfire and treat follow the hike. Those with older children should register for the Jack-O-Lantern Hike from 6:30 pm to 9 pm.

This is a hike through the woods on natural surface trails. Children should be comfortable in the woods in the evening.
This outdoors-only program follows all best practices for physical distancing. To help us space traffic on the trails, please register for a time slot using the SubActivity feature.
Register by Wednesday, October 28, to schedule your time slot and to receive a prize for completing the hike. We cannot accept drop-ins on the day of the program.
Natural surface trails are not stroller accessible.
Severe weather cancels the program.
$2 per person. Please register both adults and children two and older.
Those with older children should register for the Jack-O-Lantern Hike from 6:30 pm to 9 pm.
