The unknown frontiers of the universe have captivated composers for centuries. As the 50th anniversary of the moon landing draws near, join the NSO for a fun-filled concert of interstellar proportions. Tap into your imagination and be transported from the Concert Hall to outer space.
Most enjoyed by age 5 and up. All patrons, regardless of age, must have a ticket.
Feb. 24 at 2 p.m. is a sensory-friendly performance.
Sensory-friendly performances are designed to create a performing arts experience that is welcoming to all families, including those with children with autism or other sensory sensitivities. If you order these performances and do not require these Accessibility accommodations, your family is still very much welcome to attend.
Come early for a Musical Instrument "Petting Zoo"
Starting one hour before the 4 p.m. performance on Feb. 24, hands-on activities let children get up close with the instruments they'll see played on the stage.
Stay after for a Creative Conversation
Following the 2 p.m. performance on Feb. 24, young audience members can ask questions and hear stories in an up-close-and-personal talk with some of the artists.
