How Fossils Get to the Museum - Smithsonian - National Museum of Natural History

Led by museum educators, families will explore the different jobs and responsibilities that go into caring for fossils, from discovery in the field to storage at the museum November 9, 2019. After reading the book, “How the Dinosaur Got to the Museum” by Jessie Hartland, young children and their families will have the opportunity to sift for, identify, and explore fossils and bones.
