Bilingual Drag Queen Story Hour with Lady J. Monroe

Celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month with a bilingual story hour hosted by Lady J. Monroe! Located at Brookside Gardens and sponsored by WAM & Fam! We will meet in the Visitor Center's Children's Classroom, and move outside to the Children's Garden unless the weather is uncooperative. Bring a blanket and relax! DQSH gives kids glamorous, positive, and unabashedly queer role models. Kids can see people who defy rigid gender restrictions and imagine a world where people can present as they wish, where dress up is real.
