‘No School Day Camp’ @ CREATE Arts Center - Silver Spring , MD

Are you looking for a fun and creative space where your child can spend their days off?

CREATE Arts Center offers No School Day Art Camps on more than 20 days throughout the year when school is closed, such as Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Veterans Day, teacher conference days, professional development days, and more. Our No School Day Art Camp schedule aligns align with Montgomery County Public Schools and DC Public Schools, and also several local private schools and a variety of charter schools. Campers spend the day working on a variety of art projects, including painting, drawing, sculpture, collage, and more!

Camp Policies

• CREATE reserves the right to use copies of artwork and photos taken during any camp, class, or workshop.
• Payment is required to guarantee a spot in a camp or class.
• Should CREATE cancel a program, all fees will be refunded.
• ALLERGIES: Our camps are nut-free. Please do not pack any food with nuts or nut products in your child’s lunch or snack.
• Also due to allergy concerns, children may not share food. This includes siblings.
• Campers should bring a bottle of water, non-perishable lunch, and afternoon snack (if staying for After Care).
• No soda, energy drinks, candy, gum, or lollipops.
• No toy weapons (cap guns, water guns, etc.), handheld video game devices, or iPods. If you send your child with a phone, it must be kept in his or her backpack during the camp day.
• Please let us know about any health concerns or medications your child is taking.
• During warm weather months, when the weather is nice, we will walk off-site to Bullis Park with our campers for recess (which is located 4 blocks away from CREATE). We recommend appropriate footwear (closed-toed shoes) and sunscreen.

Enrollment and Refund Policies

• Camps must be paid in full at the time of registration to guarantee your spot.
• Should CREATE cancel a program, all fees will be refunded.
• To request a refund due to a cancellation, please contact us at 301-588-2787 or registrar@createartscenter.org.
• Please note our cancellation and refund policies:
  • Cancellations requested more than 24 hours before the start of the camp session receive a full refund minus a $20 administrative fee.
  • If it is more than 24 hours before the start of the camp session, you may request a transfer to another camp date (No School Day Art Camp, Winter Break Art Camp, or Spring Break Art Camp) with no fee.
  • There are no refunds available for cancellations requested less than 24 hours before the start of the camp session.
  • Transfer requests less than 24 hours before the start if the camp session are at the discretion of CREATE Arts Center staff, and will incur a $20 administrative fee if granted.
