The Children’s Science Center Lab is Northern Virginia’s first interactive museum where children, families, and school groups can explore science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) concepts through fun, engaging hands-on exhibits, activities, and programs. The mission is to instill a love of learning STEM by providing unique opportunities to explore and create. The Lab has four experience zones (Experiment Bar, Tinker Shop, Discovery Zone, and Inspiration Hub) that change exhibits and activities monthly. The Lab’s “Garage” is a flex-space in our center for camps, classes, workshops, parties, and mini expositions to showcase regional STEM talent in-action among area youth and families. Celebrate your child’s birthday party at the Children’s Science Center Lab! Your party will include STEM educators, hands-on activities, and a whole bunch of exploration, inspiration, and fun! LEGO Discovery Center offers a highly interactive indoor LEGO play experience where families are free to play, explore, craft, and laugh together. The 32,000-square-foot family attraction features 12 zones to discover, including DUPLO® Park, Building Adventure, Mini World, Imagination Express, Make Your Mini-Figure, Creative Club, Lego Tree of Imagination, The Lego Café, Heroes Adventure, 4D Cinema, The Workshop, and Space Mission. Numerous creative workshops will be planned throughout the year with our team of Master Model Builders led by Andrew.
